Saarinen Chair Armless with Swivel Base

The Saarinen Executive Chair – Armless with Swivel Base, designed by the legendary Eero Saarinen in 1950, stands as one of the most recognizable seating designs in modern furniture history. Originally developed as part of the Knoll 70 Series, the chair marries comfort with architectural form.

Its molded shell embraces the sitter, while the polished aluminum base offers height adjustability and smooth swivel action. Over 70 years after its introduction, the chair remains a staple in sophisticated interiors, from high-level boardrooms to minimalist home offices. Its balanced proportions and enduring design legacy make it a perfect fit across diverse work settings.
